Newburgh Presbyterian Church
To
celebrate Newburgh’s bicentennial,
the Old Dam Community Band’s conductor,
Jon Patton, and the first
trombone player, Wayne Fiester, collaborated to write
a special song,
“Ode To Newburgh”. At
the celebration program at the Presbyterian
Church the song was sung by Wanda Kavanaugh.

Newburgh. Steamboats with their
bands and calliopes stopped by from time to time.
