January 24, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band began the 2009 season by
playing for recuperating Carl Zimmerman and his 38 fellow residents at the Angel River Health and Rehabilitation Home in Newburgh.
February 14, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained the patrons of
the Really Big Show again as they played in the lobby of the Atria in Evansville.
March 24, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band played at the library in
Newburgh for about 80 people. Forty-seven players performed under the direction of James Leslie and two guest conductors, John Sakel and John Wittenbraker.
April 26, 2009 The Little Old Dam entertained about 225 attendees at Castle High School as the 50th anniversary of the founding of the school was being celebrated.
May 16. 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played its 180th concert for about 100 patrons during the first hour of the Wine fest in Newburgh.
May 19, 2009 The Community Band played a spring concert near the corner of State and Jennings Streets in Newburgh. The concert was co-conducted by Jerry Reese and Jack Schernekau. About 80 people enjoyed the music played by 42 musicians.
May 23, 2009 The tradition of playing two concerts in Newburgh in May continued as the Old Dam Community band performed for about 90 people at the Rose Hill Cemetery Memorial Day service and over 200 people at the Presbyterian Church Strawberry Festival on this date.
May 31, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained about 125 people at the Presbyterian Church on Washington Avenue in Evansville during their annual neighborhood picnic.

une 2, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band played for about 20 people at the Lincoln National Boyhood Memorial as part of the park’s summer entertainment series.
June 6, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played in the parking lot of the Newburgh Town Hall for about 30 people. It was to be a farmer’s market but there were no farmers.
Only two persons selling handicrafts were there with the band.
June 13, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained about 50 people strolling past at the Lincoln Park on this date.
June 16, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band played a concert in Newburgh at the library to entertain about 40 people.
June 18, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band played for the annual dinner at the Lakeside Retirement Village for about 100 residents.
June 28, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played at Mount Gilead Church to entertain about 70 people.
July 3, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played for about 50 members of David Emery’s family at their reunion. While this was happening, the concert band played for the Solarbron Point Retirement Community preceding their fireworks display.
July 5, 2009 In the July 5 edition of the Evansville Courier a big feature story was printed about flutist Geneice Snow. She had been a flutist in the Old Dam Band until a series of problems caused her lower right arm to be amputated. Since she was determined to use music as part of her rehabilitation, she began playing the French horn. After some lessons by Jon Patton, she says she is still not ready to play in a concert but she will keep working at it until she is.

July 11, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained about 24 residents of the Atria Nursing home.
July 21 2009 The Old Dam Community Band entertained over 100 people at the Newburgh library. This was the largest audience assembled for one concert.
August 19, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained about 25 patrons of the main library in Evansville on this date.
August 22, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played at the funeral of Harold F. Taylor, father of Mark Taylor, in Evansville. About 75 people were in attendance.
August 29, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played for about 80 people at the
50th Anniversary event at the ITT school.
September 12. 2009 The Little Old Dam Band entertained the residents of the Rathbone Home in Evansville.
September 15, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band presented the Third Tuesday concert for a large audience at the Newburgh Library.
September 24, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played for about 100 people at the First Christian Church in Newburgh. The event was a fund raiser for building a Ronald MacDonald House.
October 10, 2009 The Parade Band performed at the West Side Nut Club parade in Evansville.
October 17, 2009 The Bass Quartet played at the 7th Day Adventist Church in Newburgh.
October 20, 2009 The monthly concert at the library had a record number of about 50 players entertaining a good crowd.
November 1, 2009 The annual meeting was held at the Kiwanis Building.
After a meal, the short business meeting consisted of adding Marcia Wines to the band board.
Frank Book and Ted Gore were also restored to the board by acclamation.
The board of directors now consists of Dan Schultz, Carl Zimmerman, Fred Hormuth, Wayne Fiester, Roy Dorris, Ted Gore, Frank Book, John Powell, Marcia Wines with Jerry Reese as director of the band. At the meeting several small groups as pictured on another page entertained the attendees.

November 8, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band provided World War I music to begin a program about Veterans Day at the Central Library in Evansville.
November 9, 2009 Some members of the Old Dam Community Band played patriotic music to begin a program at the library in Newburgh.
November 15, 2009 The Bass Quartet plat at the Eastminster Church in Evansville.
November 20, 2009 The Bass Quartet played at the Metropolitan Seventh Day Adventist Church in Evansville.
December 8, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band presented a Christmas concert at the central library in Evansville.

December 12, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played Christmas music at the Rathbone Home in Evansville. About 20 residents and friends enjoyed the show.
December 15, 2009 The Old Dam Community Band presented their annual Christmas concert at the Newburgh Library.
December 17, 2009 The Bass Quartet played at the Dream Center Christmas Party on Morgan Avenue in Evansville.
December 19, 2009 The Little Old Dam Band played for Santa Land in Evansville.
